Relaxed and Natural (Virgin) hair differ in chemical composition, but rely on the same basic properties to retain healthy hair. Ideally, you can identify your hair’s specific needs based on hair strand size, density, elasticity and porosity.

Based upon your hair’s needs, you can choose the types of products, styling, and frequency of use to build your own regimen. There are many options to pick from, and it is helpful to have one of each product to treat your hair with. If you are relaxed, limit your touch ups to at least 8 weeks apart; both natural and relaxed hair should limit the use of high-heat (Blow dryers, flat irons, curling irons, etc) directly on strands.
